The song featured an addictive melody and a pumping beat. Netizens felt that the song was a little “too Teddy,” naming their producer. They compared the song to BLACKPINK’s previous hit songs, which all follow the same formula of a fast-paced dance break right before the ending.

  • They look too much like rookies. Everyone looks so awkward.
  • It would’ve been better if the song was good, but something is missing.
  • Mark the time and day of the death of YG’s music.
  • The song feels like it has been tailored to social media challenges. Seems like it’s possible for someone to not tipple over even if they put both feet on a motorcycle like that…
  • Seems like a BLACKPINK song they’re singing. What a pity.
  • It’s the same formula as BABY MONSTER’s debut song. It’s just a common YG style.
  • The song formula is the same one BLACKPINK used for years. (At the end, it’s like “…blahblahblah!” with a sudden dance break.) I don’t feel the same freshness as a rookie group should have.
