The girl group QWER, particularly member Siyeon, has been the center of controversy due to recent remarks about marriage and childbirth.
During a broadcast, Siyeon was asked about the idea of getting married to have children, to which she responded, “Humans are born to reproduce. It is our duty to reproduce.” She further emphasized, “We get married to fulfill that duty of reproduction.” Her comments have sparked significant debate, especially given the sensitive discussions surrounding birth rates in Korea.
The promotional video quickly became a hot topic online, with a post on the popular forum TheQoo garnering over 37,500 views and more than 370 comments. Many netizens expressed their frustration and disappointment with Adidas for collaborating with a group mired in controversy.
