They’re so cute!

TvN‘s hit K-Drama Lovely Runner (also known as Run Away With Sun-Jae On Piggyback) might be over, but it’s made a lasting impact.

The K-Drama starred Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok as a fangirl and aspiring film director Im Sol and swimmer-turned-idol Ryu Sun Jae (also romanized as Ryu Seon Jae), respectively. The show was a massive hit due to their chemistry and adorable 29-centimeter height difference: Hye Yoon is 160 cm (5’3″ ft), and Woo Seok is 189 cm (6’4″ ft). Even before the K-Drama premiered, the actors released a now-viral teaser focusing on the height difference.

Now, two Olympic athletes have parodied the Lovely Runner couple’s viral teaser with a new video. Team Korea diver Kim Suji, who is 153 cm (5′ ft), and beloved fencer Oh Sanguk, who is 192 cm (6’3″ ft), filmed a video together in the same style as Hye Yoon and Woo Seok. Like Woo Seok, Sanguk began kneeling to be on the same level as his fellow Korean Olympian before revealing his true height.

Both athletes are making Korea proud at The 2024 Paris Olympics!

Previously, Olympic swimmer Hwang Sun Woo went viral for his resemblance to Ryu Sun Jae.
