Korean President Moon And Former Prime Minister Lee Nak Yeon Congratulate BTS On Their Win On Billboard’s “Hot 100”
Fans, people, and even public figures have been busy congratulating BTS on their first No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!
Even Korea’s president, Moon Jae in and former Prime Minister Lee Nak Yeon have hopped on the celebratory wagon as they sent their messages to the group.
BTS has achieved its first No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, writing a new chapter in K-pop history as the first Korean band to do so. After having topped the Billboard 200 main album chart four times, they have now reached No.1 on both charts. It is truly amazing. It is a splendid feat that further raises pride in K-Pop. The song “Dynamite,” which topped the list, is all the more meaningful as it has been composed to give a message of comfort and hope to people around the world who are struggling with COVID-19. It will bring huge consolation to Koreans suffering from the national crisis caused by COVID-19. I offer my heartfelt congratulations.

Even the former prime minister of Korea had something to say to BTS!
BTS has finally made it to No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They have written a new history for K-Pop with their first all-English song debut. Their powerful dynamite can wash away the depression from COVID-19. We have gained solace and strength during these hard times. Thank you, BTS.

Back in 2018, President Moon also congratulated the boys for reaching the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart through a post on his Facebook account.
It’s not every day that your favorite artist receives a thank you and a congratulatory message from the President! Congrats once again to the boys for their first No.1 on the Billboard “Hot 100” chart!
