Korean Soloist Calls Out Netizens For Toxic Comments About Her Not Wearing A Bra

The artist clarified she was actually wearing a bra.

Korean female celebrities are constantly being judged for the way they look and act. It isn’t uncommon for stars to be criticized for how they dress, even if it’s something as simple as not wearing a bra, something Sulli and MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa received criticism for.

Recently, Korean soloist The Deep shared a video of herself on social media.

She also posted it on YouTube shorts.

Among the comments, one netizen said, “Wear a bra;;” and another comment showed a puke emoji.

While there didn’t seem to be many public comments, The Deep seemed impacted enough to share her anger on social media. In a tweet, the artist wrote in English about the kind of comments she was receiving on her videos, adding that she was wearing a bra, but it shouldn’t make a difference.

When The Deep posted, she immediately gained the support of many netizens who hit back at the comments for many reasons, including that it was inappropriate to be looking in that place just to find criticism and the prejudice against women wanting to be proud of their body.

She then shared some of the comments that she could see, which weren’t all publically available.

  • Wear a bra
  • Nipples
  • You almost pierced a hole in my phones
  • Are you a nasty girl?

Netizens were not happy that The Deep was being judged for what she was wearing and the common feeling that women are always being seen just for their bodies.
