The change happened last year.

According to Star Today media outlet HYBE’s subsidiary label KOZ Entertainment’s CEO A resigned last June. It was also confirmed that Manager B, who worked with artist Zico for over ten years, had left the company early this year.

According to industry insiders, KOZ made these changes due to poor performance. Last year, it recorded sales of ₩19.4 billion KRW (about $14.2 million USD), the lowest performance rate of all labels under HYBE.

KOZ Entertainment currently houses artist Zico and the boy group BOYNEXTDOOR. BOYNEXTDOOR’s second mini album, How?, increased sales, but some industry officials feel that they made a hasty decision regarding personnel changes.

However, HYBE stated, “The employees stated resigned from the company due to personal reasons.”

Netizens were suspicious about the continuous changes in management of the subsidiary labels under HYBE.
