The K-Pop Artist Nominees For The “2024 MTV VMAs” Across Every Category
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) will take place on September 10, 2024, and the nominees were recently announced! While the VMAs have had the Best K-Pop category in recent years, K-Pop stars have earned nominations in other categories, including “PUSH Performance of the Year.”
1. PUSH Performance of the Year
LE SSERAFIM has grown significantly throughout the year, and it seems that, as a result, the group has been nominated for this award for “Easy.”
2. Best Collab
BTS‘s Jungkook earns a nomination for “SEVEN (feat Latto),” adding to the numerous accolades the track has earned.
3. Best K-Pop
Since its introduction, the Best K-Pop award has honored some of the best releases this year, and the tradition continues this year!
“SEVEN (feat. Latto)” earns another nomination in this category.
BLACKPINK‘s Lisa earns a nomination for her latest solo release “Rockstar,” something many likely anticipated.
NCT DREAM‘s “Smoothie” saw the group try out a new range of sounds, which has been rewarded with this nom!
Naturally, NewJeans‘ super viral “Super Shy” is the next nominated in the category.
Stray Kids return to the nominee list following their “Best K-Pop” win last year with “LALALALA.”
Finally, TXT, who also attended the awards show last year and won “PUSH Performance of the Year,” are nominated in this category with “Deja Vu.”
4. Non-voting Categories
Across the several categories that are not open for fan voting, BLACKPINK Lisa’s “Rockstar” has earned three nominations — “Best Choreography,” “Best Editing,” “Best Art Direction.”
