After Bomin, Tag, and Jibeom left Woollim in August, it was announced that the Golden Child members, except for Jangjun and Joochan, would also be terminating their exclusive contract. For many fans, it was shocking as they assumed the members had all renewed after the first three members had left the company.

When the statements were posted, netizens shared the amount of artists Woollim had lost, including members of INFINITE and LOVELYZ.

Many shared their reactions, with a lot of netizens criticizing Woollim and grateful the idols left due to the company’s poor treatment of the artists.

While the future of the groups wasn’t stated, fans hope the members continue together, similarly to the likes of INFINITE after they left.
