MBC‘s romantic comedy K-Drama A Good Day to Be a Dog, starring ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo (also known as Cha Eun Woo) and actress Park Gyu Young (Celebrity, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, Dali & Cocky Prince, and Sweet Home) as Jin Seo Won and Han Hae Na, respectively, just released its eighth episode. The show is adapted from the Naver Webtoon of the same name by Lee Hey, who also wrote the recently adapted See You in My 19th Life.

Due to a family curse, teacher Han Hae Na turns into a dog at midnight for six hours after kissing someone for the first time. This transformation repeats itself until they kiss the same person. So, chaos ensued when she accidentally kissed fellow teacher Jin Seo Won, who hates dogs.

It tells the story of a woman who turns into a dog when she kisses, and a man who is the only cheat key to solve the curse but is afraid of dogs.

Finally, at the end of Episode 8, Hae Na transformed into a dog in front of Seo Won after hesitating to tell him the truth. So, Seo Won picked her up as a puppy and gave her a kiss, transforming her back into the Hae Na he knows!

In the epilogue, Hae Na and Seo Won were talking when she asked if they could kiss again now that she’s returned to being a human. Seo Won happily obliged and leaned in to kiss Hae Na before stopping himself. He worried she might turn into a dog again, but she explained that the curse had now been broken, so they could continue kissing as much as they liked, resulting in a make out session.

Naturally, the scene went viral with over 2.6M views at the time of writing on X (formerly Twitter) among K-Pop fans who are spiraling.

While some Eunwoo stans are eating it up, other K-Pop fans can’t relate. They are commending his fans, saying they’re so strong and brave.

Fans of other groups, including BTS and TXT, are jokingly saying they no longer wish for acting careers for their biases, such as Jin, because they wouldn’t be able to handle the intimate kiss scenes.
