After impressing with their audition, the members made it through to the semi-finals to compete for £250,000 and a chance to perform at the Royal Variety show.

During the show, BLITZERS wowed the judges and audience with their performance and while it was a shock to the audience, it was exactly what fans expected from such a talented K-Pop group. There were strong vocals, amazing stage presence, and high-energy from the start to end of the performance.

While the judges also couldn’t stop praising the members, sharing how much they had improved and commenting on the talent of the group, they sadly didn’t make it through to the live final.

Yet, netizens were angry after a post from the official Britain’s Got Talent Facebook page was filled with locals (non-K-Pop fans) criticizing the group.

In the comments, viewers shared their anger that a “non-British” act was through, showcasing xenophobia, while others thought it wasn’t fair that an “established” group was allowed to compete. Others even accused the group of lip-syncing and miming during the performance.

Luckily, along with loyal K-Pop fans, some locals also hit back at the criticism. While netizens pointed out that most viewers probably don’t know the effort going into being an idol, including a lot of training to be able to sing live, some shared that the show wouldn’t have allowed BLITZERS not to sing live, considering the purpose of the show.
