In particular, one of the controversial moments is the criticism of Selena Gomez’s Spanish in the show.

Following the controversy on the show with Selena Gomez’s Spanish, a viral post on Facebook has taken netizens by shock. In a post, there is photos from the show and screenshots of Donghae and Eunhyuk. The caption seemingly criticized Selena Gomez by comparing her Spanish to Super Junior.

The screenshots came from Super Junior’s 2019 cover of the song “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar” by Mexican singer Luis Miguel.

When the post was seen on X, the OP also noticed that the original cover from Super Junior was suddenly met with an influx of Spanish comments praising the group.

Netizens shared their own thoughts about Super Junior going viral, including comparing the group’s respect and effort into the song to Emilia Perez.

Super Junior is very popular in Latin America, having performed many times in South America, and has many songs with Latino influences, including the likes of “MAMACITA,” “One More Time” with Mexican group Reik, and “Lo Siento,” with Latin Grammy-nominee Leslie Grace.
