K-Pop Groups Postpone Activities Following Jeju Air Plane Crash

On the morning of December 29, Jeju Air Flight 2216, flying in from Bangkok, Thailand, to Muan, South Korea, crashed after landing on its belly and veering off the runway. 179 Of 181 passengers were confirmed to have passed away in the accident, with a national period of mourning of 7 days being announced shortly after.

Since the accident, numerous K-Pop companies and groups have announced the cancelation or postponement of events. Here are some that have been announced so far.

1. IVE

IVE announced the postponement of schedules planned for December 29 and December 30.

ZEROBASEONE announced the postponement of Jiwoong’s birthday content which was supposed to be released on December 29.
