SM Entertainment’s Alleged Plans For Their K-Pop Artists In 2024
With 2023 in its last quarter, some K-Pop fans are already looking forward to next year and what it will bring in terms of comebacks and debuts. Curiosity is piqued even more when leaks come out about what certain K-Pop labels have planned for their artists in the upcoming months, and recently, the alleged plans for SM Entertainment‘s artists in 2024 has been shared online.
And if this leak is accurate, it sounds like there will be something released for just about every SM Entertainment artist fan to be excited about in 2024!
According to the list, there are three artists who don’t have any plans at all right now — TVXQ, Super Junior, and Girls’ Generation. As some of the label’s oldest artists, it’s not terribly surprising that their music releases will be slower than younger ones, but we can still hope that this changes at some point during the next year.
SHINee, on the other hand, has quite a few plans for 2024! They’ll reportedly release a mini-album and go on tour, both Taemin and Onew are supposed to have solo comebacks, and Taemin is said to be holding his own concert.
EXO‘s list of planned activities is pretty long too. They’re also supposed to release a new mini-album, and both Baekhyun and Suho are said to be having solo comebacks as well as concerts.
Red Velvet‘s 10th anniversary will be happening in 2024, and their plans are to release a special album as well as hold a concert.
NCT 127 joins the list of artists rumored to be releasing a mini-album in 2024. They are also said to be having a new member solo debut next year, and to go on tour.
NCT DREAM is alleged to be releasing a full album next year, and to also come out with a unit single of some kind.
WayV fans will be excited to learn that their plans are to comeback with a full album in 2024, as well as to host a fanmeeting!
The long-awaited full album from aespa is once again in the plans for the next year. They’re also supposed to make their Japanese debut, and have a fanmeeting.
As for the company’s newest group, RIIZE, the rookie boy group is supposed to release a mini-album next year, and also hold a fan concert.
Also included in the 2024 plans is the debut of the new NCT subunit, which will reportedly be in the form of a mini-album and debut showcase. A new girl group is also planned to debut in 2024, and nævis, EXO’s Chanyeol, and Red Velvet’s Yeri are set to make their solo debuts. Finally, the teasing of a new EXO sub-unit continues into 2024.
