These Are The 5 BRAND NEW K-Pop Songs Debuting On The Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart This Week
The Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart is a weekly updated chart that lists the 25 best-selling international singles in the United States at the time of its posting. With K-Pop’s popularity going up every day in the country, the chart is often dominated by the music genre, and this week is no different!
This week, 13 of the 25 songs on the list are K-Pop, and 5 of those are newly debuted for the first time!
The highest-ranking new song takes the #1 position on the chart this week, and it’s none other than Lisa‘s solo debut, “LALISA”. Her debut as a solo artist was so highly anticipated, it’s no surprise that she landed the peak position so quickly!
The next new song on the chart is ATEEZ‘s latest title track, “Deja Vu”, from their ZERO: FEVER Part.3 album. It’s ranked at #4 for its first week on the chart, and is their 16th song to make it onto this specific list!
It’s also their highest-ranking song on the chart to date, with their past record going to “Wonderland”, “Answer”, “Fireworks (I’m The One)”, and “The Real”, all of which peaked at #6.
HyunA and DAWN‘s recent collaboration, “Ping Pong”, comes next on the list with a ranking at #10. While both have ranked on the chart individually before — HyunA nine times and DAWN twice — this is their first song as a duo to make it onto the list!
Next up is soloist Wonho with his latest title track, “Blue”. This is his seventh song as a solo artist to debut on this chart, and it spends its first week at #14.
His highest ranking song on this chart is still his debut solo, “Open Mind”, which peaked at #4 back in 2020!
And finally, the last new K-Pop song on the World Digital Song Sales chart for the week of September 25 is “Red Lipstick” by Lee Hi (ft. Yoonmirae). With a debut ranking at #22, this is the soloist’s eighth song to chart on this list, with “Rose” being her top-ranking with a peak at #4 in 2013.
Congratulations to all of the artists who made a new debut on the chart this week!
