Third-Generation K-Pop Idol Has Netizens Cracking Up With Her Fansign Antics

While some K-Pop idols tend to keep a more serious, stoic, and poised appearance whenever they’re seen in public, others aren’t afraid to let their goofy side shine. It can be incredibly endearing and entertaining to see idols who are known to be intense performers become completely different when they’re not on stage, and that’s definitely the case when it comes to Dreamcatcher‘s Siyeon!

Dreamcatcher as a whole is known it put on intense performances due to their heavily rock-inspired songs, and all of the girls are incredible on stage. Siyeon, their main vocalist, is no exception.

Despite her reputation for having this kind of aura during performances, though, Siyeon is definitely a master of duality, and she’s especially entertaining when interacting with fans!

Some clips of her showing this goofy, silly side have gained attention online recently. For example, during a fansign, she perfectly aced a trend where a person says “아 가라고요” (“Ah screw off!”) vs. “아가라구용” (“I’m a baby”), two phrases that are very similar in sound but have much different meanings. Siyeon switches from a harsh tone to a cutesy tone without pause!

In another clip shared of Siyeon, a fan tells her that someone is “behind her” during a livestream, possibly trying to spook her by suggesting there’s a ghost in the frame. Without hesitation, Siyeon “attacks” the “intruder” with a swift jab of her elbow and says, “Not anymore.”
