Actor Kwak Dong Yeon Leaves FNC Entertainment To Sign With Nameless Agency
Actor Kwak Dong Yeon has been reported to have signed with a newly formed entertainment agency, following his leave from FNC Entertainment.
On the 13th of August, it was announced by dramaland representatives that he had signed with a new agency, formed by one of the ex-vice presidents of KeyEast Management, Hong Ming Ki. KeyEast Management houses many famous actors, including Woo Do Hwan and Moon Ga Young, and helped grow actors including Lee Bo Young, Kim Soo Hyun and Han Ye Seul, who have since left the company.
Kwak Dong Yeon’s contract with FNC Entertainment had expired this year in June, and he was immediately snapped up. His new agency has yet to register their agency name, but will soon do so, along with announcing the full list of signed actors.
It seems that many netizens are congratulating him on the move, especially given the negativity surrounding FNC Entertainment recently.
The actor has been under FNC Entertainment since his debut in 2012, with the drama My Husband Got A Family. As he was a child actor originally, he has since worked his way up the ladder, recently guest-appearing in It’s Okay To Not Be Okay as Kwon Ki Do, the son of a politician. He also starred as the second male lead in My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, stealing hearts as the admirable sunbae.
