Popular soloist Kwon Eunbi opened a cafe in the trendy neighborhood of Seongsu, called Geum Eun Bang. The cafe is a small but cozy one, fitting in perfectly with the neighborhood’s hipster vibes.
The cafe was also introduced by Eunbi herself in her vlog. The interior is made of wood and light beige tones, giving it a quaint and cosy vibe.
The prices soon went viral online. Cakes at her cafe go from ₩8,500 KRW (about $5.79 USD) to ₩13,000 KRW (about $8.86 USD) for a fresh strawberry cream cake, the most expensive item on the menu. Financiers and cookies range around ₩4,000 KRW (about $2.73 USD).
Drinks range from an iced americano at ₩4,500 KRW (about $3.07 USD) to handmade flavored lattes at ₩7,000 KRW (about $4.77 USD).
Considering the prices of cafes these days, many felt that it was rather normal. While her prices are not on the cheap side, they aren’t on the expensive side either for non-chain, indie cafes. Especially given the price of land in Seongsu, many found her cafe’s menu reasonable.
