The Latest Whereabouts Of Former WJSN’s Chinese Members

Cheng Xiao, Meng Mei Qi, and Wu Xuan Yi all debuted under WJSN. They were originally signed to Yuehua Entertainment, which later had a joint venture with Starship Entertainment, producing a Korean-Chinese girl group called WJSN (also known as Cosmic Girls). The Chinese members returned to China to promote the group in 2018, staying absent from Korean activities and eventually staying there after their contracts ended in 2023.

Here’s what the girls are up to today!

1. Meng Mei Qi

In 2023, she was a participant of the survival show The Next.

She will also soon be starring in a TV show called Summer With You as the lead! The show is about an elite lady who moves to a province to work at a primary school. She befriends a young 10-year-old and experiences the joy of life.

From her latest Instagram posts, we can see that she enjoys experimenting with different styles.

2. Wu Xuan Yi

She starred in idol youth drama Sweet Teeth in 2021, as the lovable librarian who captures the heart of a dentist.

She also had a supporting role in Rising With The Wind in 2023.

Xuan Yi is slated for 4 more upcoming dramas in 2024 to 2025.

She looks as adorable as ever!

3. Cheng Xiao

She has been flaunting her experience by working as mentors and panelists for Asia Super Young and Idol Producer.

The star has also been successful in acting, seeing global popularity with Falling Into Your Smile.

She has 4 more dramas under “to-be-advised,” with two confirmed ones in 2024, namely Follow Your Heart and Fangs of Fortune. The star also recently celebrated her 26th birthday.

It remains unknown if they still keep in contact with the Korean members.
