Recently, the identity of the person who exposed YouTuber Tzuyang’s past with Gujeyeok has been revealed to be her ex-boyfriend’s legal representative, lawyer Choi Woo Seok.
Choi is known as the CEO of a law firm and a reporter for an economic magazine and recently received backlash for a now-deleted article regarding defamation.
Lawyer Who Exposed Tzuyang’s Past Faces Huge Backlash For A Now-Deleted News Article
On July 24, a media outlet reported that Choi allegedly wrote a negative article about Tzuyang to proceed with the lawsuit in his favor.
This incident occurred in 2019 when Choi represented a franchise company involved in a lawsuit against Tzuyang over the unauthorized use of portrait rights.
Tzuyang’s former agency filed a lawsuit against the franchise for violating the right of publicity. The franchise then hired Choi, who began writing articles about Tzuyang regarding the situation.
They reported that he used his rights as a reporter to write an article that created a negative public opinion about Tzuyang.
Although Tzuyang refuted the claims and filed a lawsuit against Choi, the court ruled in Choi’s favor, as it recognized his status as a reporter and that his articles were in the public interest.
Most recently, Choi made a post on his blog revealing that he will provide free legal advice to those who need it.
