Lawyer Reveals How Long Park Yoochun Could Go To Prison If Found Guilty
JYJ‘s Park Yoochun was recently charged with illegal drug use after traces of meth was found in his drug tests. He was also found to have purchased 1.5g of philopon, but he denied it by claiming he bought it for Hwang Hana without knowing it was drugs. He’s also denying the drug charges, claiming that he will look into how he had drugs in his system without using it once.
The police have officially filed a warrant for his arrest, and a lawyer who specializes in drug cases revealed how long Park Yoochun may be sentenced to prison if found guilty.
Lawyer Kim Hee Jun claimed that Park Yoochun could be sentenced between 5 to 7.5 years. It would depend on how many times he’s found guilty of using illegal drugs.
If he’s found guilty of using philopon, he would be punished for violating the laws on illegal drugs. If he used illegal drugs, he could be prisoned for up to 5 years. If he’s found guilty of using it multiple times, then his sentence could be up to 7 years and 6 months.
His possible sentence will most likely be within that range.

Park Yoochun is preparing to fight the charges with his lawyer, while his agency has officially cut ties with him.
