LE SSERAFIM Fiercely Defended From “Stupid” Plagiarism Allegations For Upcoming Release
Netizens have defended LE SSERAFIM after “ridiculous” plagiarism allegations ahead of their comeback.

Yet, while many fans were excited, it got hit with plagiarism allegations for Charlie XCX’s album BRAT.
One viral post along with other posts with smaller interactions shared that the music and style of the sampler seemed similar to Charlie XCX‘s recent album that was released in June 2024.
They didn't event let Charli xcx's BRAT marinate 😭😭😭 https://t.co/S99T0NvTmw

Netizens were quick to hit back at the allegations, sharing that LE SSERAFIM has been teasing this comeback for months and that while Charlie XCX’s album was released a few months ago, the idols would have been preparing for months.
i’d like to add for the qrts that it’s impossible they could’ve copied or had inspo from brat when they’ve been hinting at crazy as far back as november, they even performed a bside from it at coachella in april meaning the songs were already made while brat was released in june https://t.co/mMZxPRg4mq pic.twitter.com/cVoYYZoqCl

Kpop stans if you don’t know your music genres, it’s always good to stfu. This is phonk music, a genre developed by hip hop artists in the 90’s. Get off stan twitter & go pick up a book, & stop crediting artists for shit they did not use or create. https://t.co/Njh25iPPee

The brat plagiarism allegations is so stupid bc le sserafim talked about crazy comeback while promoting easy back in February saying that the songs are ready only the shooting of concept photos and mvs are yet to be done 😹😹 kpop stans are so dumb

Others also shared their excitement for the song and how LE SSERAFIM seems to always be the brunt of hate and allegations.
qrts allow every kpop group to get away with releasing anything but god forbid lsrfm tries something different suddenly they’re copying 200 different artists https://t.co/jVrIfvNjmo

First NMIXX with SICKUHH, then LE SSERAFIM. You always yearn for experimentation, yet whenever a group experiments, backlash always follows promptly, you call it weird and push more artists to not experiment at all. https://t.co/8G2TS2WMVA

let's all say "thank you le sserafim" for never releasing boring music https://t.co/wSOMHmUiDa

LE SSERAFIM always creates strong concepts with their music, and netizens don’t want their efforts to be missed because of some “hit” posts trying to claim the group plagiarized another musician.
