LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae Officially Apologizes For Student “Mocking” Controversy
On August 29, LE SSERAFIM held a showcase in Seoul for their fourth mini album, Crazy.
This is the group’s first comeback in six months since their third album, Easy, released in February.
In particular, Eunchae apologized for her past “mocking” remarks about students she had made.
I thought about it comfortably without knowing it because it was a place to communicate with fans. I should have known that the closer we are, the more careful I should be, but I didn’t think deeply. I apologize for my immature behavior and for disappointing everyone. I will show a more responsible image with a careful heart.

Last March, during a Weverse live broadcast, she stated, “You guys go to school for a long time. It must be hard.” That same year, in September, she communicated with fans on a similar topic and stated she didn’t understand why they had to study at school. This received much criticism, as it looked as if she was looking down and making fun of students.
