Fans Come To LE SSERAFIM Eunchae’s Defense As Her Instagram Continues To Get Flooded With Hate Comments
There’s a difference between constructive criticism and pure hate comments, and sadly, it seems like the ongoing debate around LE SSERAFIM‘s live vocals has much more of the latter than the former at this point.
Since the discussions about LE SSERAFIM’s live vocal abilities started earlier this year with their encore stages for “EASY”, people were quick to be heavily critical of the members to the point where it didn’t seem helpful at all, but just an excuse to direct mean comments towards the idols.
And now, months after the controversy first started, it seems that some people just won’t give it a rest. In particular, youngest member Eunchae has been the target of a huge number of hurtful, hateful comments on various platforms, including her own personal Instagram account.
As far back as April, around the time that LE SSERAFIM was under fire for their performance at Coachella, fans were already coming to the maknae‘s defense after her comments section was flooded with negativity and cruel words.

And now, over a month later, it seems that little has changed. Netizens brought up numerous awful comments on some of Eunchae’s most recent posts on Instagram, which we can only hope the 17-year-old isn’t reading.
- Seriously, whenever I look at Eunchae’s face, I can’t help but wonder how she debuted.
- Hey, go watch Mr. Trot… There are babies who are way younger than you who can sing so much better… Eunchae grandma with arm hair ㅠ They sure tried to push you when you were young, but don’t you know that your expiration date will be soon?
- You can’t even sing, imagine becoming a celebrity like you, tsk tsk, and please spend some time practicing your vocals!!! Spend that time you spend taking photos of yourself, this is such a celebrity disease lol. You’re unworthy to be a celebrity.
- The moment she sings loudly, it goes la la laAaAAaAaA.
- Eunchae, what are you gonna do? There’s not a single good comment here, so are you still gonna claim it’s forced hate? ㅋㅋ ㅠ Please just try out the CSAT.

At this point, it seems like turning off comments might be the only way to bring a stop to this horrible trend. But that could bring in a new method of criticism in itself, so it’s hard to say what the right answer is in bringing a halt to the awful hate.
Thankfully, at least, there are many people who are sending words of support and love to Eunchae as well. On a forum post sharing the above comments, there were dozens more that criticized them and came to the idol’s defense.
We hope that Eunchae and the rest of LE SSERAFIM’s members aren’t letting these kinds of comments get to them, and that they have plenty of support from the people around them too.
