On July 15, it was reported that HYBE‘s Source Music, the home of LE SSERAFIM, has sued Min Hee Jin.

The lawsuit claims that LE SSERAFIM has become the target of malicious comments due to three of Min Hee Jin’s claims, which include the ADOR CEO stating that she had personally casted NewJeans‘ members, that HYBE had promised NewJeans would debut as HYBE’s first girl group, and that Source Music neglected NewJeans members.
Netizens were baffled by Source’s allegations, as LE SSERAFIM has faced criticism for controversies that had nothing to do with Min Hee Jin. Fans responded to the news with criticism and some went as far as to declare they would be boycotting the label.
