LE SSERAFIM Leave Netizens Feeling Emotional With Their Reaction To IVE’s Big Win At The “2022 Melon Music Awards”
It’s no surprise that LE SSERAFIM and IVE are good friends, seeing as Chaewon and Sakura debuted together with Ahn Yujin and Wonyoung long before they joined their respective groups.
The four artists were all members of the legendary girl group IZ*ONE before it was disbanded in 2021. While fans were sad to see the group end, its members have proven many times since then that their friendship is far from over.
Not only do they all still hang out (in some cases, excessively), but they are now also bringing their new members into the fold. Sakura, for example, brought fellow LE SSERAFIM member Kazuha to a hangout with her IZ*ONE bestie Kang Hyewon.

Given the tight bond that exists between the artists, it’s hardly a surprise that IVE’s big win at the 2022 Melon Music Awards had LE SSERAFIM feeling rather emotional.
Both groups took home major awards, with LE SSERAFIM winning “Best Performance: Female” and the “Hot Trend Award,” while IVE swept up four wins, including a daesang.

And when they saw Yujin break down in tears as IVE accepted their award, both of the former IZ*ONE members became visibly teary-eyed as well. As did their fellow LE SSERAFIM members!

Fans were more than happy to see crumbs of this wholesome friendship, as it shows how artists have continued to be incredibly supportive of each other despite no longer being teammates.

When a fan asked Chaewon about her reaction to IVE’s win, she melted hearts by acknowledging that she did feel as proud as a mother at that moment.
