LE SSERAFIM Fans Find Impressive Detail In Sakura’s Choreography For “The Hydra”

LE SSERAFIM attended the 2022 Melon Music Awards (MMAs) and set the stage on fire with their performance.

Not only did viewers notice that Sakura was full of confidence while slaying the dance, but her part of “The Hydra” choreography held an impressive detail.

Because the Greek and Roman tales of the Hydra mention attempts to cut off the creature’s head, Sakura imitated cutting her own throat, with Chaewon following behind to do the same move.

And just like the Hydra in the stories, Sakura then grows twice as many heads for every head cut off—in the form of the members popping out behind her. The choreography impressed fans by incorporating the song’s imagery into the dance. It wasn’t the only part that did so, either.

Soon after, Sakura imitated cutting her throat once more, making the image of the Hydra twice as large with the help of the backup dancers.

Fans noticed that the Hydra then became a five-headed creature, with each of the members representing one.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, fans realized that the Hydra becoming stronger each time its head is cut off perfectly connects with the resistance of “ANTIFRAGILE”.
