On August 27, it was suddenly announced that ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin would be stepping down from the position.
ADOR’s company released a collective statement that claimed a board meeting was held, appointing Ju Young Kim, an HR expert, as the new CEO, with Min Hee Jin taking on a more creative role.

Ju Young Kim is an HR expert who has various experiences in the industry and will be tasked with stabilizing ADOR’s internal organization.
Min Hee Jin will remain as an internal director and will continue to be tasked with NewJeans’ production. As such, the production and administration of ADOR will be separated. Previously, ADOR was the only (HYBE) label whose CEO was in charge of both administration and production, and that didn’t follow the multi-label strategy.

This announcement was met with mixed reactions from many, as the public feud between Min Hee Jin and HYBE has been ongoing for months.

However, some believe that another party mentioned in the feud has shared content “shading” the former CEO.
One of the core issues of the feud between HYBE and ADOR was centered around the development of NewJeans and how they were pushed aside for the debut of LE SSERAFIM, according to Min Hee Jin.
In an Instagram reel posted by Chaewon, she, Kazuha, and Sakura are shown dancing in a practice room. The reel was posted just after the news of Min Hee Jin stepping down was shared.

Another detail that has some believe it was a dig at the former CEO are the Louis Vuitton bags the three members are carrying.
At the height of the feud, it was alleged that HYBE attempted to “steal” NewJeans’ brand deal with Louis Vuitton for LE SSERAFIM. These bags being included in the post seem to reference this.
