LE SSERAFIM Turn Off Social Media Comments
LE SSERAFIM have turned off the comment section for their social media accounts.
Currently, if you look at a post on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, etc., you cannot comment or read others’ comments. The only options are to like and share.
This includes the members’ individual social media accounts as well. This change happened in June.

A popular search question on TikTok is “why lessarfim turn off comments?” According to the search results, the comments have been turned off due to the increased malicious comments the group has received lately.
The malicious comments got so bad that fans were genuinely concerned for the members. Some fans even wouldn’t mind a hiatus just out of safety for the members.
can le sserafim please take a hiatus i dont know anymore but this is getting scary, their instagram comments are atrocious, the hate is everywhere i dont care anymore just let this girls rest and protect them please

suffocating. we can’t enjoy any le sserafim content anymore bc these are always the top comments. it’s so unfair and unjust but we are supposed to take the moral high ground otherwise we are a “disgusting fandom”. sigh. pic.twitter.com/SztOMdXj3A

This update to LE SSERAFIM’s social media accounts reportedly occurred weeks ago. Yet, many are just now taking notice, especially after the release of LE SSERAFIM’s new documentary, MAKE IT LOOK EASY. The documentary includes many distressing scenes and tackles the topic of the hate they have received. In the documentary, 17-year-old Eunchae was featured reading comments. While the entire group has faced harsh criticism, the young idol especially has been a victim of hate, as posts were flooded with toxic comments questioning her abilities and whether she was ready to debut.
eunchae pls put the phone down i beg you don’t need to see all this pic.twitter.com/YdkBBy2TBl

Likewise, Yunjin mentions some of the criticism she has heard. She had to have seen the hate comments directed towards her.
In the debut teaser, I said "I want to change the idol industry" and about that, people say things like "So what have you changed?" "How are you gonna make changes by yourself?"
yunjin saw the hate comments :(((( pic.twitter.com/Cc9tFZJI8W

@tokychae imagine harassing somebody over something they dream about 🤦♀️ she has made so many songs raising awareness about the industry and sharing her messages but you all choose to be ignorant on that part. Truly nasty people #yunjin #lesserafim
Another clip showcases Yunjin crying while looking at her phone. Many clips include the members worrying that they’re not working hard enough, crying, and Sakura confessing she’s scared of singing in front of people.
i need to know why shes cryinf , what is she scrolling through why is she crying why am i cruing pic.twitter.com/fCyMdCbVnY
