Why LE SSERAFIM Yunjin’s New Self-Composed Song Has Fans Emotional
LE SSERAFIM‘s Yunjin warmed fans’ hearts with the release of her self-composed song “Raise y_our glass.”
It may not have been long since LE SSERAFIM made their debut earlier this year, but Yunjin is already giving fans a good look at her impressive talent. Made to commemorate the day in which LE SSERAFIM’s fandom name ‘FEARNOT’ was announced, “Raise y_our glass” has proven to be a really moving song.
It is evident that Yunjin put a lot of thought into it, starting from the name. As a combination of her name and the word ‘our,’ the word ‘y_our’ is meant to tell the story of Yunjin’s journey so far with her members and with fans.
In 'Raise y_our glass', "y_our" holds a special meaning. "Y" (which means "Huh Yunjin") + "Our" (which means "we"), were combined to create "Y_our".
"It's a song that tells a story for me, for you, and for us," and she chose 'honesty' as her point of appreciation.

The story is one of gratefulness, particularly since Yunjin hadn’t expected to end up where she is today.
Despite the long journey leading up to her debut, and the many realities she faced after her debut, Huh Yunjin eventually realized that what she wanted to say the most was 'thank you' and started working on music.

For this reason, the open and honest way Yunjin expresses herself in her lyrics and in the song’s video has had fans feeling somewhat emotional, especially considering the difficulties Yunjin faced as a trainee. After she failed to make it in Pledis Entertainment, Yunjin had already decided to return to the US to study music when Source Music offered her a place in LE SSERAFIM.
