LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin Shows Her Support For Pride Month On The Group’s Official Twitter
While South Korea is still on the conservative side when it comes to LGBTQ+ issues, it has become a little more common for celebrities to show their support of the subject in more recent years.
Still, it’s considered risky to outwardly show support of the LGBTQ+ community on a platform as large as the K-Pop industry, so any time that an idol is vocal with their support, it’s a big deal!
This is especially true for rookie idols who haven’t been in the industry for long. And that’s what makes what LE SSERAFIM‘s Yunjin posted on the group’s official Twitter account even more important and brave!
June is Pride Month, a time to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969 through pride events worldwide in a show of support and love for the LGBTQ+ community. And on June 2, Yunjin made this post.

The photos she posted showcase a Yunjin playing with a bunch of bright-colored paints on a wall, and her comment presumably references the rainbow colors that are often associated with the LGBTQ+ community.
