Lee Chaeyeon “Disses” Former IZ*ONE Members Sakura And Chaewon

Soloist and former IZ*ONE member Lee Chaeyeon appeared on “Eunchae’s Diary,” the YouTube show hosted by LE SSERAFIM‘s Eunchae.

At one point, the latter asked the older singer for advice on how to make more friends.

I’m so curious about how to make friends.

This surprised Chaeyeon who thought Eunchae was an extraverted social butterfly. Her first reaction was to question her again, “You don’t have any?” 

She followed this up with a playful diss towards Sakura and Chaewon, the two oldest members of LE SSERAFIM and former members of IZ*ONE alongside her.

Your group members don’t have any friends, too.

Sakura and Chaeyeon in particular are known to be best friends, and she even brought up this exact topic to her in the past. Eunchae couldn’t help but laugh and agree that LE SSERAFIM mostly spends time with one another.

Chaeyeon: You know what’s really funny? Saku-chan also keeps saying, “I don’t have friends.”

Eunchae: We only hang out together.

Though Chaeyeon poked fun at her former members, the truth is that they are still close friends until today. Sakura and Chaewon spoke highly of her to Eunchae in a way that only close friends would.

When I asked [Chaewon] what kind of person you are, there was something interesting. I knew you are an introvert. But Chaewon said, ‘She’s kind, nice, and has a good personality. She’s really nice, and she’s an extravert.’ She said it so confidently. [Then Sakura said] ‘She likes kind people.’ She said you like kind people and also really like those who speak kindly.
