Top Actor Gets Burnt Out After Being Bombarded With An Overload Of Complaints
With it being CSAT season for high school students in Korea, many celebrities posted messages of support online.
In particular, actor Lee Dong Wook took to the messaging app to cheer on students taking the exam. However, many people began complaining that he should support everyone, not just students.
“I’ve always written messages of support around this time, and I’m not sure how much strength this will give, but I hope you all receive the score you want. This is your first big exam, and although you may be nervous, it’s something you can’t avoid. If it’s something you must do, will you win or lose? Let’s try and win. You can do it!
Ok, office workers, college students, business owners..let’s support the students together. Think about how nervous they are. Did you really have to say, ‘What about us?’
Of course, I support everyone always…I understand that life is hard…but this is the CSATs…and I’m rooting for the young ones just once a year…”

After receiving many complaints, he left an additional message supporting everyone.
“I support office workers, college students, business owners, and everyone, of course! I hope that everyone who is a part of my Bubble will never be left out and always be happy. I know how hard it can be to live day to day. There is no easy and simple life. I’m so proud of everyone who is making an effort every day in their respective positions. I support everyone who has given me the love and support.
Anyway, good luck to all the students taking the CSATs and let’s get it over with and have fun!”

But after receiving so many comments, he ended up getting burnt out.
Anyway, there’s so much traffic…I want to go home so bad! I’m so tired, I got burnt out while trying to support the students. See if I ever support anyone again.

Korean netizens criticized the fans for being immature when it was an important day for the students.
- “If you want to receive a support message, apply for the CSATs. Why are you complaining? It’s not like you are living life alone.”
- “There’s actually people complaining about this? They received support when they took the exams too, didn’t they? It’s a big day for the students. Is it that bad that you aren’t receiving support?”
- “These people are acting worse the older they get.”
- “Please act your age..he’s just trying to support the students.”
- “Lee Dong Wook’s right…life is hard. Can’t we just all support the students.”
- “Please act like an adult…act your age.”
- “Why are they like this..?”
- “Losers.”
- “If you received support before…know when to give back…”
