Lee Dong Wook's Unrecognizable Transformation For New Film Stuns Fans

Actor Lee Dong Wook is known for his handsome looks. He’s usually clean-shaven but has rocked various hairstyles, with long hair being a fan favorite.

Yet, Lee Dong Wook is nearly unrecognizable in his latest styling for a film.

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) released a first look at the upcoming 2024 historical spy-thriller film Harbin. It will premiere at the festival.

Hyun Bin stars as Ahn Jung Geun, “the Korean independence activist who in 1909 assassinated Itō Hirobumi, the first Prime Minister of Japan.” His co-stars include Jeon Yeo Been, Park Jung Min, Park Hoon, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Jae Myung, and an unrecognizable Lee Dong Wook.

After the trailer was released, netizens were shocked to realize Lee Dong Wook had totally transformed his appearance. This time, he has facial hair, which is rare for the actor. The dim lighting didn’t help, either.

Lee Dong Wook has had facial hair before, but it wasn’t recently, and even then, it was unique from his in the new film. While we love to see his handsome face, Lee Dong Wook can pull off facial hair quite well, too!
