Netizen Sentenced For Defaming “King The Land” Actor Lee Jun Ho

The netizen continuously wrote misinformation and malicious rumors about the idol.

A netizen was sentenced after being found guilty of defaming 2PM‘s Lee Jun Ho.

According to JYP Entertainment, on July 28, Seoul’s Western District Court ruled that a netizen had defamed Lee Jun Ho and was handed down a fine of ₩3.00 million KRW (about $2,340 USD).

The netizen had previously been charged with writing defamatory comments and spreading misinformation about Lee Jun Ho.

The defendant maliciously wrote false statements about Lee Jun Ho. Through this, the defendant has defamed the victim with unfounded rumors.

On this day, JYP Entertainment revealed that they were amping up their monitoring of malicious comments and would continue to protect their artists.
