Lee Kwang Soo Thinks Appearing As A Guest On “Running Man” Would Be Strange—Here’s Why
In light of his upcoming movie Sinkhole, Lee Kwang Soo spoke with TV Chosun for an intriguing interview.
The new comedy film centers around a man who has spent 11 years purchasing his very own home. Unfortunately, the man’s home was swallowed up by a sinkhole in less than a minute.
After he discussed his film, Lee Kwang Soo dished on his departure from the wildly popular variety show Running Man. Because of a fractured ankle resulting from a car accident last year, Lee Kwang Soo chose to leave the show in order to let it heal. Despite departing from the show, Lee Kwang Soo shared his break won’t be a long one.
It won’t be a long break. I’m having surgery to remove metal pins next week and I’ll undergo rehabilitation treatment. It’s not to the extent that it will effect my everyday life. I was a bit lazy before about rehabilitation treatment, but this time I’m going to focus on it.

When asked whether or not he would ever make a guest star appearance on Running Man, Lee Kwang Soo admitted that he finds the idea of being a guest rather than a fixed member to be strange.
I think it would be funny, but also really strange. Of course I would be very welcome to see them again, it’s like returning to your hometown, but I’m not sure. It’s hard to express in words. I think that it would feel very different if I returned as a guest rather than a member.
