Lee Mujin Refuses To Show Up For His Own Show, Leaving NMIXX’s Kyujin To Film Alone

According to a Dispatch report on March 6, KST, singer Lee Mujin skipped the filming of his own popular YouTube show, LeeMujin Service, amidst an ongoing feud between KBS and his label, Big Planet Made.

The report stated that Lee didn’t attend the recording of the show’s latest episode, which is released through KBS’s YouTube channel, leaving his guest, NMIXX‘s Kyujin to film the episode on her own. Each episode of the show features a duet session between the guest and the host, but for the latest episode, Kyujin performed alone.

Lee Mujin’s label Big Planet Made is a subsidiary of One Hundred, which also owns INB100, the label managing EXO‘s Xiumin. Recently, INB100 accused KBS of blocking Xiumin from performing on Music Bank, sparking a feud with the network.
As a result, both labels under One Hundred have boycotted all KBS appearances as per reports. Lee Mujin is the first artist under One Hundred to withdraw from a schedule like this.
According to One Hundred Label, the KBS executive responsible for artist appearances has not been responsive in their communication with the label. The company has interpreted this silence as a blanket rejection of all their artists.
The incident has sparked a lot of criticism from netizens, who deemed One Hundred Label’s actions as unprofessional and potentially sabotaging for its artists’ careers.

- “Let’s change the MC.”
- “Why is this label so whiny?”
- “KBS must be furious.”
- “Even if he doesn’t come, it doesn’t matter. Just cut off all artists from this agency and don’t let them appear.”
- “If they cared about the celebrities under the agency, they shouldn’t have done something like this. For a celebrity, image is so important! They’re only thinking about their own position. Once the artists’ contracts with the agency are over, they should leave without looking back.”
