Lee Seung Gi Updates His Instagram For The First Time In Almost Two Months
Lee Seung Gi is back on Instagram with a new update for all of his fans. The actor uploaded two fun photos to promote his variety program, Master In The House. Lee Seung Gi proudly shared two pictures with the show’s new cast members Kim Dong Hyun, Yoo Soo Bin, and Yang Se Hyung.
In the first photo, the four members showed off their goofy personalities and posed for the camera. With the caption, “New Master In The House, welcome,” Lee Seung Gi welcomed the new cast members.
In the second photo, the cast members showed off their bright, big smiles for the camera.
Lee Seung Gi’s fans shared their excitement with his return, as they poured out their love for the actor.
Previously, Lee Seung Gi found himself in the middle of his first controversy in his 17 year career after he went public with his relationship with actress Lee Da In. The controversy arose not because of his decision to date publicly, as he had a former public relationship with Girls’ Generation‘s Yoona back in 2014, but rather because of Lee Da In.
Actress Lee Da In, who is the daughter of one of South Korea’s top veteran actresses Kyeon Mi Ri, received intense scrutiny from the Korean public for coming from a family with “criminal history.” It was reported that her stepfather was accused of stock manipulation and insider trading on several occasions. And while Lee Da In’s stepfather and her family saw approximately ₩2.30 billion KRW (about $2.06 million USD) in profits, there were hundreds of families who became victims to Lee Da In’s stepfather’s stock manipulation scheme.
This information began to spread like wildfire all across Korean media sites after Lee Seung Gi’s relationship went public due to his clean record during his impressive 17 year career. After receiving criticisms from the media, both Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In remained inactive on their social media accounts — until now.
Lee Seung Gi has been a fixed member of Master In The House since the premiere of the show back in 2017. The SBS program marked the actor’s first return to the entertainment industry since his discharge from his mandatory military service, exciting all of his loyal fans.
You can catch new episodes of Master In The House every Sunday on SBS.
