Lee Soo Man Makes His First Public Appearance In Over A Year After Leaving SM Entertainment
SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man has made his first public appearance since leaving SM Entertainment last year.
Lee Soo Man was invited to the 2024 CISAC General Assembly, which is being held in Seoul from May 27 to June 1. CISAC stands for the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers. This year’s event is hosted by the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA). Creators from over 70 organizations gathered to share their knowledge and discuss various issues such as how AI will be incorporated in the future. Lee Soo Man was specially invited to participate in panel discussions at the event. Also invited was actor and director Yoo Ji Tae.
Lee Soo Man’s nameplate was noted as “SM Entertainment Founder,” and did not mention any current relations with the company he founded.
At the event, he appeared to be happy and healthy, with his signature glasses and sported a smile throughout the event.
