Lee Sung Kyung Is Preparing To Make Her Drama Comeback

Lee Sung Kyung is preparing for her drama comeback, considering a role in Season 2 of Dr. Romantic (also known as Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim).

According to drama insiders, Lee Sung Kyung is set to join Han Suk Kyu and Ahn Hyo Seop in the second season of the drama. Her role would be as Cha Eun Jae, a second year heart surgeon. Cha Eun Jae has been preparing to be a surgeon since she was a child, and was known as the “studying genius”. Learning from a book was easy for her, but her entire body freezes up inside a real operating room. However, all of this changes when she meets Han Suk Kyu.

The drama marks Lee Sung Kyung’s return to the medical drama world, 3 years after SBS‘s Doctors. In response, Lee Sung Kyung’s agency, YG Entertainment, commented on her appearance.
