LG’s Limited Edition Laptops In Collaboration With NewJeans Receive Mixed Reaction From Netizens
NewJeans were recently announced as the global brand ambassadors of Korean tech giant LG. And this grand collaboration kicked off in the coolest way possible, with the brand announcing a limited edition computer called the LG Gram Style NewJeans Limited Edition Big Bunny laptop.
The collaboration will launch special editions of the LG 2023 Gram laptop series, featuring NewJeans’ official mascot, Bunny, in its design. On January 25, LG revealed the design of the computer and the limited-edition accessories.
The series features two exclusive laptop cover designs featuring Bunny. The device also comes pre-loaded with four icon designs and special wallpapers.
The series also has accompanying accessories with matching designs, including a laptop pouch, mouse, mouse pad, cable strap, and Bunny-themed product box.
LG will also hold a NewJeans meet-and-greet event with only 30 lucky invitees, some of which will be chosen through a raffle from the limited-edition laptop buyers.
The laptops are going to retail for ₩2.70 million KRW (about $2,190 USD). Though most Korean netizens found the design tempting, the price prompted mixed reactions towards the collaboration as a whole.
