Actor Im Chang Jung’s (49) wife, fellow actress Seo Ha Yan (31), who is 18 years younger made an appearance on Same Bed Different Dreams 2.
The couple made headlines when they got married, due to the couple’s age difference. It didn’t help that compared to Im Chang Jung, who is a household name in Korea, little was known about Seo Han Ya. The disparity in age and popularity fueled rumors and gossip.
Kim Gu Ra alluded to this in his introduction of Seo Ha Yan saying, “To be honest it must have taken a lot of courage to appear due to the attention you received when you got married.”
To this, the actress replied, “Due to the hate, I hid from the public for a long time,” before showing the couple’s resolve by stating, “I felt it didn’t matter what they said about us as long as we knew the truth.”
