Here’s A List Of K-Pop Idols Who Are Getting Tested For COVID-19 After UP10TION’s Bitto Confirms Positive
Tensions are high in the K-Pop world after news of UP10TION’s Bitto testing positive for COVID-19.
Recently, Bitto was confirmed for COVID-19 after making an appearance on MBC’s Music Core and SBS’s Inkigayo this past weekend.
His agency, TOP MEDIA confirmed his positive test and released a statement assuring that they will be taking preventative measures in accordance with the policies set by the KCDC and apologizing to the broadcast staff for causing concern.
Inkigayo is currently working on identifying all artists that have had close contact with Bitto through CCTV footage.
Currently, BTOB 4U, IZ*ONE’s Minju, Natty, STAYC, WOODZ, DRIPPIN, woo!ah!, NCT, aespa, Bling Bling, and Norazo will go forward with COVID-19 testing.
All of Inkigayo’s MCs including MONSTA X’s Minhyuk, NCT’s Jaehyun, and APRIL’s Naeun will also be undergoing COVID-19 testing.
AKMU, Stray Kids, CNBLUE and others are currently figuring out if they have crossed paths with UP10TION.
However, even if they did not come into direct contact with UP10TION, they are concerned about the contact with related staff and has brought more tension to this incident.
