Third-Generation Idol’s Secret Marriage To Crypto Scammer Exposed
Former LIVE HIGH member Rhea was belatedly revealed to have married a conman.
On June 28, it was reported that Rhea married conman Lee Hee Jin in 2021.
Lee Hee Jin is a conman who gained notoriety after calling himself a stock analyst, eventually even appearing on Korean talk shows. In 2020, however, the conman was be sentenced to 42 months in prison and was forced to pay ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.22 million USD) in fines and ₩1.20 billion KRW (about $866,000 USD) in restitution. He is currently standing trial for additional financial crimes involving cryptocurrencies.
According to the report, Rhea married the conman after getting pregnant. The report states that Rhea had previously flaunted the wealth illegally obtained by her husband, once even uploading a photo of a ₩100 million KRW (about $72,200 USD) bank note.
Meanwhile, Rhea debuted with idol group LIVE HIGH in 2013 and disbanded in 2019.
