The comedian also took a crack at predicting the National Team’s record in the group stages of the tournament. Ji Suk Jin, on the November 27 episode of Running Man, predicted Korea would defeat Uruguay 2-1, defeat Ghana, and lose to Portugal to advance into the round of 16.
Followers of the tournament will know that Korea ended up tieing Uruguay 0-0, losing to Ghana 2-3, and defeating Portugal 2-1 to advance. Ji Suk Jin’s prediction literally couldn’t have been more wrong, except for the fact that he did correctly predict Korea to advance.
