LOONA Achieve Their First #1 On A Billboard Chart, Making Them One Of The Fastest K-Pop Groups To Achieve This Feat
LOONA just managed to hit a gigantic milestone!
On December 26, Billboard released an article commemorating LOONA’s special fan release song “365” for securing the #1 spot on their World Digital Song Sales chart for the last week of 2019 (dated December 28, 2019)!
While LOONA has had songs enter the charts before, this is their first #1 on this particular chart, beating out their previous entry of “favOrite” in August 2018, which took the #4 spot.
LOONA snagged their #1 on the chart in less than a year-and-a-half from their debut, making them one of the fastest K-Pop groups to achieve this feat, after TXT, BLACKPINK and (G)I-DLE! They’re the third fastest K-Pop girl group to hit #1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, and the fourth fastest K-Pop group overall to get this #1 spot!
LOONA has promised fans more music in 2020, and fans are extremely excited—both for their #1 win, and more GREAT music!
