“Love Letter” Star Miho Nakayama Found Dead At Home

Legendary Japanese actress Miho Nakayama has been found dead in her home. According to TBS News on December 6, 2024, the 54-year-old actress was discovered in her Shibuya, Tokyo, home around mid-afternoon the same day. She was reported to have passed away.

Her colleagues had been unable to get in touch with Miho, leading them to personally visit her home to look for her. They found her unconscious on the bathroom floor.

Miho was scheduled for a Christmas concert in Osaka on December 6, 2024, the same day she was discovered. The concert was canceled, with organizers citing “poor conditions in health.” The Tokyo City Police are investigating her cause of death.

Miho was renowned for her career both in music and acting. She starred in Love Letter in 1995, which catapulted her to international fame.
