It is unsurprising that a recent interviewer asked Kim Hye Yoon the burning question in everyone’s minds — will the two ever date? The interviewer pointed out that many are sincerely hoping that the two co-stars’ relationship will develop into something more. Kim Hye Yoon politely deflected, explaining that they were already drifting.
“Their lovely and fresh chemistry in the drama was so popular, and their appearances in behind-the-scenes videos and variety shows soon became a hot topic. Due to how warm they were, people were suspicious as to if the two were dating in real life at the moment. Even on-site during the interview, people lovingly joked that they suited each other well and that they should date. In response, Kim Hye Yoon admitted that she frequently hears people saying they should date or get married. She responded, ‘I know how they feel when they make such forward suggestions, but to me, he’s simply an oppa that is getting further [from me].”

Lovely Runner filmed for around 11 months, so it is likely that the two developed a strong bond.
