MADEIN Social Media Comments Turned Off Following Sexual Assault Denial, Sparking Public Outrage

143 Entertainment is facing heavy backlash after addressing serious allegations of sexual misconduct involving their CEO and MADEIN member Gaeun.
The company’s public denial of the claims, followed by their decision to disable comments on multiple social media platforms, has only fueled fans’ anger.
Earlier this month, fans noticed that Gaeun had wiped her Instagram account and unfollowed the agency’s CEO. Around the same time, a report on JTBC’s Scandal Supervisor alleged that a girl group member had evidence of being sexually assaulted by her agency’s CEO. While the victim and group were not initially named, netizens quickly linked the claims to MADEIN after footage in the report was identified as belonging to the group.
MADEIN’s Gaeun Victim Of Horrifying Sexual Assault From Company CEO While Underage
On November 11, Gaeun announced a hiatus for health reasons, further raising concerns among fans. The situation escalated on November 22 when the MADEIN X account released a statement confirming that the report involved their group but denying any wrongdoing.
First and foremost, we wish to clarify that there was no sexual harassment or any other form of sexual contact involving abuse of power between the mentioned member and the company CEO. The reported claims are entirely false.
Additionally, regarding the hotel incident involving the member, we would like to clarify that it was in the company of acquaintances.
The broadcasted information was based on statements from individuals unrelated to the member, who provided inaccurate accounts. We want to emphasize once again that the issue is baseless and completely unfounded.

Despite the denial, the company’s decision to disable comments on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube has drawn widespread criticism. Fans see the move as an attempt to silence discussion and avoid accountability.
The audacity to close the comment section.
