Male Actor Berates Apink’s Eunji…For Her “Manly” Car Seats
A clip of Apink member Eunji being rebuked by her co-star for her “manly” car seats has left netizens enraged.
On August 24, KST, a user on Theqoo posted a portion of the Zzanbro episode where Eunji appeared as a special guest along with actors Choi Jin Hyuk and Lee Jung Eun. The three are co-stars in the ongoing JTBC K-Drama, Miss Night And Day.
In the specific clip, Choi Jin Hyuk was seen complaining about Eunji’s choice of car seats and her general lack of understanding of “how guys feel.” During their conversation with the MC Shin Dong Youp, Lee Jung Eun brought up the off-screen chemistry of Eunji and Choi, remarking that they behaved like real-life siblings. “For example,” Lee added, “he complains, ‘Why is your car so black?’” Eunji’s personal car has all-black seats, which Lee said she found “manly” and “cool,” but Choi seemed to dislike it quite a lot.
While Lee was praising Eunji’s driving skills, Shin Dong Youp commented that Eunji was oblivious to “how a man actually feels,” to which Choi readily agreed. Since Shin was already joking about Eunji and her co-star ending up dating each other in the future, Choi’s quick reaction caused everyone to start teasing the two. Eunji, however, responded by jokingly picking up the bottle opener and threatening Choi to shut it.
Choi Jin Hyuk explained that to him, Eunji seemed like someone who didn’t “understand people’s feelings.” Though the idol-actress responded by saying he was the first person to accuse him of that, Choi continued, saying she was “so oblivious.” This only made Shin intensify his teasing about the two actors’ potential romance as Eunji winced and cringed.
Though the episode was released two months ago, the resurfaced clip has gone viral with over 100,000 views and 1200+ comments at the time of writing. Choi’s behavior toward Eunji has ticked off most netizens.
