MAMAMOO’s “HIP” Is Their First Song To Earn A Gold Certification In Japan
MAMAMOO have just earned their first gold certification in Japan!
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), their 2019 single “HIP” has just earned a gold streaming certification! To earn a gold streaming certification, a song needs to be streamed over 50 million times since its release.

“HIP” was released in November 2019 and won numerous awards, such as the Digital Song Bonsang at the 2020 Golden Disk Awards and the Best Vocal Performance Group award at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
